This was a very helpful teaching booklet to use with the reading and teaching of the book HATCHET!

This teaching unit is a little dated, but it has some great ideas. It helped me to plan a unit for my 5th grade class. It has a lot of crafts/projects you could assign as literacy centers.

Quick and easy reference. Tests effective and Bloom's friendly. Projects fun for kids. Vocabulary ideal for vocabulary bees. A great teaching resource.

For the busy teacher who needs good material to review what student's have learned from a reading unit. This is good material, although it will not meet the new common core assessments.

I really liked this guide. It had a wide variety of questions, activities, and three unit tests to choose from. It also included a nice biography of the author.

I found the book to have valuable questions and it guided me through reading a difficult book for kids to read on their own.
