I gave this Christmas present early to my son as he needed a warm shirt to go outside for a few hours. He absolutely loves it. The only problem I have with it is it ordered black as he asked for a black hoodie sweatshirt. This is definetly dark brown and not black. He refuses to give it up so I'm back here ordering black! I hope this is not what they are calling black. The outside said black. I really think it was mis labeled. I'll let you know if this is really brown or black when I get the next one! This one is really a beautiful dark brown.

Too short in length, generic drawstring

I am 5'10". I don't consider myself to be a tall person, just about average. This shirt is very short. If I would have known that, I would have purchased a tall size but I didn't think I would need to. So I would suggest that if you are my height or taller to get the tall size. This shirt comes to just about my waist, right at my waist. I have to wear a t-shirt underneath because the hem of the shirt lifts up when I sit down or get up.

The sizes appear to be inconsistent between colors. I bought an orange one and a black one and the black one fits better than the orange one even though they are the same size. It fits tighter.

Also, the drawstring is very generic and thin and doesn't match the quality of the shirt itself.

The overall quality of the shirt is good. Better than generic hoodies but not as good as my Nike or Adidas hoodies. They are medium thickness and are really warm. They look really nice. I have worn the orange one once and received good feedback about it.

I would recommend this hoodie keeping in mind the length issue. It's hard for a bigger guy like me to find a good hoodie. Just don't expect to be blown away by it.

FYI, the orange/red colored hoody appears to be red in the picture but it isn't red. It is orange.

Very comfortable but not very warm. Also the sizes are little crazy. I usually wear a 2xl but after reading the reviews I decided to order an xl and the jacket still fits almost like a 3xl

The toughest hoodie I have ever owned

I own this hoodie in Heather Grey, Charcoal Heather, and Black. It's an extremely versatile piece of clothing that can can be worn comfortably in weather ranging from 10-50 degrees. Some people wear Carhartt without ever getting it dirty, but I wear it because their clothing is tough-as-nails. It doesn't matter if I drag my back across concrete in order to get under my truck for repairs, the material never rips, frays or shows sign of wear/tear. I've put these hoodies through a lot. Walking trough think thorn bushes while fishing, riding my 4wheeler through mud for hours-on-end, crawling on ice, over broken branches, and through snow while hunting. I've gained a few stain spots here and there, but the material is still as good as new.

I purchased all three in April of 2014 and am still using them as of October of 2016. They have a lot of life left.
