So i would say it does not plump your lips per se, but more reddens it due to the ingredients listed. When you put it on it’s just a gloss but once you give it about 5 minutes you’ll feel a tingling/burning sensation. To me it’s not an unbearable burning or anything but I also don’t have sensitive lips. It definitely gave me lips a definition of color. I purchased two, one for me and one for my mother because she has no lips and with this it gives her a visible outline of color without applying lipstick.

This the 4th lip plumping gloss I've tried, all $30 and above. Wow!!!! This one is crazy amazing. It plumps in a matter of 2-3 minutes and the gloss sheen stays practically the entire day. The plumping lasts 3-4 hours so I use it 2-3 a day because I LOVE the look of how plump it makes my lips look. I have actually gotten Juvederm injections in my lips a few years ago (naturally it wore down after about 1 year) and this product truly truly makes my lips look like they did w the injections and for a tiny fraction of the price!!! I've already ordered another one so I can keep the extra one in my purse. This one is truly worth it!!!

The only thing that I would change is that the gloss is pretty sticky, doesn't really bother me unless it's windy and my hair is down! And for those of you who have experienced the tingle from other lip plumpers, get ready, this one definitely tingles. But I actually like it because I know that it's working!

I have given this a 2 star review at this time because this is advertised as the color Nude! It is clear! Whether it works or not I will have to see. However, something they don’t tell you is that it burns/ tingles when applied. That also transfers to your tongue when you lick your lips. Update: does not plump lips. Don’t waste money!

I'm a little unsure how many stars to give this product because it REALLY does plump lips. The only problem I have with it is that the cinnamon or cayenne or whatever is in the formula is so hot it makes my scalp break into a sweat. I've never really thought of myself as having sensitive skin--I used City Lips for a long time and never thought twice about the tingling. But when you put this on, you can pretty much feel your lips start swelling. I was so stunned I made my husband put it on his lips (he was forced, under significant duress, so he agreed). He said he couldn't feel a thing. Sensing he was lying because he'd been forced to put it on, I slathered a heavy coating on his lips. Nope---he really didn't feel it. But his lips did plump (he was alarmed). So, maybe some people have thin skin on their lips and can really feel the product BURNING THEM INTO BEAUTY, while others have thicker skin and get the effect without the heat. I now only put it on before an evening out etc... It burns, but sometimes we do suffer for beauty.

And I love the big fat tube it comes in. So far happy with this product. But I can say it wasn't a huge difference in the size if my lips and nothing like the review photos I've seen posted by others.

If you want the same effect as this product rub an extremely hot pepper on your lips wait 2 minutes until they're as red as a tomato and that's it. Your lips do not swell up as shown in videos and pictures they have available. It's painful for 12 hours even after scrubbing it off

Out of all the lip plumpers I’ve used (Too Faced, Dior, Glam Glow, etc) this one gives the best results. I apply it after I use a lip plumper suction cup and it does wonders!! It does have more of a burning sensation compared to other lip plumpers I’ve tried, but I think it’s because of stronger ingredients and this subsides after 5-10 minutes. I found applying chapstick before this plumper helps to reduce the burning. The gloss itself is quite sticky but gives the lips a nice hydrated shiny look. Also the packaging is very cute as it comes in a cardboard cylinder!
