This skirt is exactly what I was looking for. It's very comfortable and can be easily dressed up or down. It has a subtle design that's beautiful but not distracting. I've gotten compliments every time I've worn it.

Update: I loved the skirt so much that I purchased two more. Unfortunately, after a few washes, the decorative stitching started coming off on all three of these skirts. I removed it all with a seam ripper and I still like the look of the skirt without the decorative stitching. However, the lace trim around the bottom already has several holes and one of the skirts has a seam coming apart between one of the tiers as well. They've only been washed on a delicate setting and air-dried. I'm removing one star for the quality issues. Overall, for a $20 skirt, I'm still happy with this purchase, but I don't plan on buying more.

Beautiful skirt!! Color looks good, as expected...it has a drawstring tie which allows it to be one size fits all. Goes down to the top of my feet (I'm 5'5" tall) I am about 210 lbs with a large waist and it fits very nicely. I wore it the day after it arrived. The shipping/delivery was quick. I will definitely look into buying from this seller again. The only thing I would add to make it a perfect skirt, would be front pockets. But that is not advertised, it is exactly as advertised and worth every penny, I just like pockets to put my keys and wallet and things in. If you are looking for a nice skirt that is exactly as pictured/advertised and has a nice fit, check out this seller.

Material has a noxious chemical smell

Pretty skirt; very full if you like this sort of thing (it was too full for me - makes me look huge). It has some nice details such as the embroidery on the panels and a crocheted hem, but the slip doesn't come down far enough - barely 2/3 of the length of the skirt. It has an ample elastic waist that stretches very wide and should fit most women probably up to a size 14, maybe 16. But it also has a nice drawstring so it can be tightened easily for a slim woman.

Three stars for design.

This skirt also has a VERY strong chemical smell. I tried the skirt on which was a mistake because the smell was so toxic the back of my nose/throat hurt for several hours afterward. My eyelids also became inflamed and puffy about a half hour later.

I saw other reviews before purchasing this skirt that warned about the chemical odor, however I thought this might have been the result of an acid dye used to color the fabric. For this reason I ordered the white skirt, but the problem seems to affect any color. It is likely the skirt has been treated with an array of toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde. These are used to keep items looking fresh and wrinkle-free, as well as to prevent mildew while items are in shipment for weeks or months.

Many products coming out of China have noxious chemical odors these days, from small to large appliances, to plastics, rubber and textiles. This is due to cheap manufacturing practices using solvents and other carcinogenic chemicals. China has no OSHA laws so it seems anything goes. Also, be aware that some manufacturers are attempting to mask these chemical odors with fragrances that contain yet more toxins, so beware if a product smells either like solvents or like perfume.

FYI, I also ordered a couple Bohemian cotton skirts by KayJay Styles and they did not have a noxious smell. (But it's still a good idea to wash clothing before wearing it because if it's not GOTS certified organic it has probably been treated with formeldehyde which doesn't usually present any odors by the time we get it.) I also reviewed those skirts which are very similar to the skirt reviewed here. Please note, I am an Amazon top reviewer and I not affiliated with either of these companies.

This looked pretty, so I took a chance and bought it. However after wearing it once--for only half of a day--the embroidery unraveled and was hanging in strings off the front of the skirt. I guess you get what you pay for--cheap and poorly made. This skirt should have been 9.99, though-- not 19.99 if it was going to be a "disposable/one time use" piece of clothing. Too bad because it is really cute. Can't return it because I wore it. What a scam.

This skirt is so pretty. I purchased it and crossed my fingers that it would look good. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is made in India, and it smells TERRIBLE when you pull it out of the packaging. They must have sprayed it so heavily with chemicals before shipping it. I washed it and it still smells. A word to the wise, follow the washing and care instructions carefully. I put it in the washing machine before looking at the tag, and realized it says hand wash only. Some of the ornate stitching came loose and can not be fixed. However, it came off in an area that I don't mind so much. It was my own fault. But just note that it is delicate. I will have to try to wash it more or let it soak a long time again, because it still smells terrible.

At this price, I didn't expect a lot, but these skirts are gorgeous. They are nicely finished with pretty details like a lace trimmed-hem, embroidery, and lace trim on the tiers. I am 5ft. 2", and the hem falls a bit lower than mid-calf on me, at the narrowest part of my leg. I wear a medium/large and the waist fits comfortably with no rollover. I just ordered two more in different colours.

Absolutely fabulous gypsy style cotton skirt. I am 5’4” and it is mid way between calf and ankle. I am a 10/12 with a 29”/30” waist and a 38” hip. The skirt is a perfect fit. My opinion is that the waistband would be too tight on a waist larger than 32”. The skirt hangs and flows well, not too full & not too skimpy. It is not see through and is very cool. I am 71 and wear it with black sleeveless tee shirt ( this is a review for the black skirt) tucked in with wide elastic belt. Looks stunning.

La falda es una preciosidad. Los motivos que lleva y el diseño son preciosos. La parte de abajo, que es como bordado, es muy bonita. La talla correcta (uso una 48-50 de pantalón, dependiendo de la talla del fabricante, y la falda me queda perfecta, pues la cintura es bastante elástica y se amolda correctamente a mi talla). El color gris es precioso, mucho más brillante que en la web. La tela es de calidad. Lleva forro por debajo, justo como se ve en la foto (por debajo de la rodilla) y no transparenta nada, ni siquiera se ve el forro (solo si hay mucha luz y da directamente en la falda). La caída y el vuelo son muy bonitos. Lo único que me sobran unos 5 cm de largo (mido 1,67 aproximadamente) por lo que tendré que llevarla a que me la arreglen. La recomiendo sin dudar.
