I wouldn't say I'm a hoarder, but I manage to accumulate a lot of outdoor gear: scuba fins, mask, tennis gear, racquetball gear, camping, hiking, you name it. And I didn't really have a place to put it all.

This bag is perfect. And it's enormous. I originally was going to purchase a size smaller, but was concerned it wouldn't be enough. I wish I did. There's so much space left in this bag I could fit two whole bodies.

The material is strong and the straps appear to be double, or even triple-stitched for added durability. The zipper is large and feels very stable when opening and closing. I don't have any concerns that the zipper latch will break.

This bag is perfect for storing items, but if you get the extra large size, just make sure you leave enough space in your car to haul it. This bag, full, will fit in my trunk, but with no room to spare.

I have used it in a dozen overseas flight and recommended to family + friends. Carries everything that I need, sturdy, easy to spot at the airport carousel. The only catch is be careful the size that you order since these are huge. To give you an idea of how big this is I purchased the 18x42 and I am capable of putting in it 4 fully packed standard size gym bags so it takes up the entire cars trunk. Loved it so much that I picked up a second one and did away with luggage all together.

I took this duffle bag on my Kilimanjaro climb this year and it did a great job on a 5 day trek up the mountain.

Great all around bag and the material is quite strong but I broken the strap so that is the only thing that has failed in 8 months of use.

For a low cost duffle, these Northstar bags are awesome. They're tough as nails, and huge! Most of the reviews say the same thing, and now I see why. Worth every penny. I've had plenty of more expensive bags that have not lasted. I expect this Northstar bag to last a lifetime of heavy use and abuse.

I use the 12x24 bag for my gym stuff, it's fully loaded and gets tossed around a lot. No problems taking the abuse. I then purchased the bigger 18x48 sized bag just to have a spare. I could use it for a body bag if I can't think of a better use for it :)

All luggage should aspire to be this well made :)

It is definitely a huge bag and reasonably well made for this price. No wheel and if you put a bunch of stuff in it and drag them around, it will be a single use bag :-)

Overall, not bad for the price and probably good for keep your stuff together in the garage. Don't plan to use it in your camping trip!

Wow ...

I was just looking for an inexpensive duffle bag that would make it easier to keep all of my beach stuff together and carry it to and from the car. I didn't need a heavy duty piece of equipment and for less than $20 I didn't expect one.

Needless to say, when I took this duffle out of the box I was definitely surprised. I actually double checked the packing slip to make sure Amazon hadn't accidently shipped me a much more expensive item than what I had ordered.

The material on this duffle is heavy duty and no question about that. This is not the thin cheaper version of "rip-stop" nylon material that you see in a lot of bargain priced backpacks and "sports" duffles. This bag would easily carry baseball bats, cleated shoes, camping gear or any other metal equipment you might have. The zipper and straps are also heavy duty, well stitched with a double layer of material at the stress points and although the clips are plastic they seem well made and strong enough to take some serious weight.

I'm going to order some smaller versions of this bag to use for traveling. I have no doubt that these bags would survive airport baggage handlers with no problem at all. If the zipper had been designed for snapping a lock onto it, it would be absolutely perfect.

I bought this to transport a plastic tube containing a light-weight flip chart easel. Altogether the tube and contents weigh about 4 pounds. I took it on one of my regular trips to Haiti on American Airlines. When I arrived in Haiti the end of the bag had worn through. If the friction of an airline baggage compartment on a single trip wears through the "tough" ripstop cloth then in my opinion the cloth is not so tough. I would understand if the fabric was stretched or if the edges of the tube were sharp, but the tube was flexible and the ends were soft rubber. The item fit in the bag loosely and I had bungied the bag so there were no hanging straps and the tube was loosely secure.

Very light fabric and nothing like the old army surplus heavy canvas bags that would last for years.

Bought this bag for son's camp gear. This thing is huge and holds a ton of stuff. We jam packed it with 60 pounds of stuff and it held nicely. Granted it takes two people to move it when it's that big and stuffed. You would have to be a pretty big man to be able to lift this thing when it's full, and I think the large shoulder strap is useless, as the bag is just too big. But it does its job well, and I hope it holds up for a long time.

This monster bag is perfect for carrying everything you need if the S ever HTF! I ran a SHTF Bug out drill for two of these bags folded in a stored situation. The task was simple, I have 2 of these and both had to be filled and ready to go in under 5 minutes with no issues. One is in my Pantry and the other is beside my Gun safe. I started at my SentrySafe 10-Gun Safe, which I was able to completely unload 2 rifles, 1 shotgun, 2 hand guns, thermal blankets and all the Ammo/ accessories into that bag in 2:12 minutes. In my Pantry I was able to load 30 lbs of canned food, first aid kit, and 24 wattle bottles (16oz) in about 1:53 minutes. Both bags held the weight perfectly and I was able to carry them to my Bug out vehicle with very little difficulty. Throw in the low price and you have got the best SHTF bag you can get. 5 Stars!
