I've had a hard time finding drip rings that would fit thick neck wine bottles. I settled on this one after a lot of searching and visits to wine merchants. The problem is that the interior soft ring tends to come loose after a use or two. Even then, the fit is not tight. I would not recommend this product.

These drip rings are very nice. They are smaller than our old ones, lighter than the old ones, and have a better design than our old ones. Basically they have a spring in them that lets them open to get over the top and then when released it hugs the neck of the bottle. Does its job.

This drip stop ring is the top of the line. My wife and I are both avid wine enthusiasts. With other rings we have tried, they often did not fit on bottles with oddly shaped or over-sized necks/spouts. This drip stop actually unclips so it can be opened to fit around the neck of the bottle. Furthermore, the material is thick and very absorbent. This is an excellent product.
