I tried it on my face and I didn’t like it because it made my face a little tight and made it look like I had wrinkles and I don’t have any yet. I guess the hold has a film that forms a crunch and film on my face. It smells good. It surprisingly held my tight curls for a wash and go but you can stretch the hair. Also my hair was really dry and I had to redo my hair and put a leave in, in my hair. I ended up having the best twist out though. I immediately got another one because it’s healthier on my scalp, which has been breaking out lately. I would recommend, just put something underneath. Also this product has more slip when you had more water and it smoothes the cuticles of the hair well and defines my hair so well, that my hair shingles it’s self, but I still separate my hair manually.

This is pure aloe, not that imitation green stuff. The bottle is a little deceiving because it looks like the jelly has a tint to it but its actually just the colour of the bottle. This aloe is clear and has a very slight fresh fragrance. I will only buy this brand - it use to be sold at London Drugs, but no more. This big pump is the best value anyways and I am a huge fan.

I saw a Reddit post a while ago of someone who used this on their dry scalp (not medical dandruff but just really dry and flaky scalp) so I thought I’d try it since it was pretty cheap - plus it never hurts to have aloe in the house for after sun - and it completely cured my flakes! I use it on my scalp in the shower, just about a teaspoon amount, while my conditioner is sitting on the ends, then I rinse out. My scalp no longer itches and it seems to be moisturized. I was worried it would make my hair oily or greasy, or worse, crunchy! but I don’t even notice it. I do, however, notice when I don’t use it so I won’t be stopping anytime soon!
