These shoes are extremely comfortable and the fabric is gorgeous. These seem to run just a little large, but not enough that it's any sort of problem for me. Someone else may want to order just a half size smaller, because as they stretch a little that half size may turn out perfectly. The espadrille is comfortable and makes for a solid, stable feeling shoe, at a height that is just low enough for comfort, but high enough not to look stodgy. I have checked prices for this shoe around the web, and with my Amazon prime it was the best deal out there!

The downside, I'm a size seven and the shoe was slightly bigger in the sense that when I walked in them, the back of my foot would easily slide out. However, I fixed the problem with a foot stop pad that you can purchase in almost any retail store. I would definitely recommend these shoes, but you may consider a half size smaller than your actual foot size.

The shoe, while it looks good in the picture and at initial evaluation out of the box, turns out to be a poorly designed product. The height is good but the lining is man-made material which, if you are wearing this shoe barefooted your foot will slide as a result of foot perspiration. This causes the shoe to flop off your foot. The heel is too loose to effectively hold your foot in place. The vamp is shallow. The areas where the cloth is fitted into the lining is poorly constructed. I would recommend the price of this should be more in the $6 range. I would not purchase this shoe from this maker in the future.

I however got the C/D or wide version even though my foot is pretty narrow and I thought they were perfect wide. I got them in the color red, its a beautiful color. At first I wanted them in navy but they did not have them in my size and I was nervous about the red since it is such a bold color but I'm glad I got them in red. They look great with a white shirt and jeans. LOVE THEM!
I've ordered different styles of LifeStride Espadrilles in 8.5W and all have fit great. But with this style, I had to return them and reorder a 1/2 size smaller. The 8.5W had a good sized gap in the heel and wouldn't stay on my feet. The 8W are actually too snug in the toe box, but I'm hoping I can stretch them out. Otherwise, this will be a wasted purchase. They will be too uncomfortable.
They are very cute on and go with so much. That is why I took the chance and kept them.
One disappointment factor ....I originally ordered this shoe in Navy. But when I reordered the 8W, I guess the Navy wasn't in stock and it jumped to the Black. I didn't notice the Black was ordered until it was too late. Preferred the Navy, but since there wasn't an 8W in stock I kept the Black.
A nice looking shoe with a comfortable moderate heel. Unfortunately they are extremely wide and loose fitting. I normally wear a 7.5 M shoe and find most brands fit well. After looking at website comments it seems LifeStride produces wider than average shoes.
