Fill valve and flapper may be needed !
If you are replacing this fill valve on a drake # 454 2 piece , cyclone flush or similar model you may want to replace the flapper .This model uses aKorky 2021BP G-Max Flapper valve . On my 2 year old toilet the flapper was not leaking yet but was almost gone. The flapper was badly warped upward and very hard ,Also the pivot end was very hard and I had to cut off with a razor blade. The fill valve that came with my Toto toilets were of a different and poor design.oe part # TSU38A I am replacing all valves with this oe apart # TSU99A.X or (korky528T) and flappers on all my toiletsI like some of the old Toto parts better then what came in the new kit and installed 3/16 silicone tubing .
