I love cooking with a Wok. I have had this one for 9 months now, I use it a lot, and for dishes other than stir fry, and at times, I do use very high heat. So far, so good: nothing sticking and easy to clean up.It does have some weight to it, but at 6’3”, so do I :-) If you can not handle the weight….. get stronger :-) It is a 12 .5" pan, so your old 12" lids will NOT work. This one is a keeper. Good pan.

I had to get a separate glass cover from another seller since this didn’t come with one but overall still an excellent buy. Makes my cooking much easier.

We have used this pan several times now. We like the size, depth, heft and quality build. Our only disappointment is that at the end of the stirfry there is residue firmly stuck to the pan, and it is difficult to remove. So far I have cleaned it with a good round of elbow grease and a baking soda paste, but with each use it seems to require more work. I really wish the nonstick properties of this pan were better.

I purchased it particularly for its size and the non-stick coating as I already own 2 other GreenPan skillets and love them. This wok measures a bit more in diameter and height than our old wok which is what I was looking for. Something a bit roomier and more importantly, taller, than my old wok. I ended up buying a tempered glass lid off of eBay, which turned out to fit this wok nicely. ( 32 cm / 12.5" diameter lid ) This wok is a little on the heavy side, but not as heavy as some other skillets that I've owned. I use this wok for browning beef, stir frying, and sometimes for pasta dishes where I want to toss in the pasta to mix with the sauce before serving.

I don't write reviews often but wanted to save others the trouble who are looking at this wok for stir frying and Chinese cooking. I've used this to stir fry for 3 months, once a day and there are already stains and residue that can't be removed. The wok is advertised as "nonstick" but since day 1 food has stuck while stir frying. I have a few other GreenPan pans that I like but I do not recommend this product.
